Classis of Central California Statement of
“The Classis” of Central California exits as a regional body of 18
Reformed Church in America congregations for the purpose of bringing glory to
God through the ministry of oversight, relationship building, planting new
churches and enabling growth among its member churches, enrolled pastors,
candidates under care and specialized ministers.
Working in mutual dependence with its parent
bodies, the Regional Synod of the Far West and the General Synod of the Reformed
Church in America, the task of the Classis is to equip its
congregations for effective ministry – following Jesus Christ in mission
in a lost and broken world so loved by God – throughout the region of
Central California.
